I love teaching. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a child. I believe that all children can learn. I teach using a lot of hands-on experiments as well as a lot of peer tutoring. After our Math lesson, my students work on an Independent Practice and once they get it checked, they are allowed to help others. I believe all children can learn. I have learned that even though I am the teacher, there are several other teachers in the classroom. I love to integrate subjects with each other and share stories of how what the children are studying is related to life.

My first tutoring experience was in my freshman year of college. I tutored basic college algebra and calculus. Having earned two bachelor degrees in both math and physics. I know firsthand that great teachers make great students. It took several years to discover my learning style because I had to find it on my own.
