Shakespeare is one of my top subjects! Very skilled in reading and performing Shakespeare (as well as the work of his contemporaries). Can guide students in reading and analyzing the text, as well as teaching them how to perform scansion on the text (Iambic pentameter). Students will soon see that Shakespeare's not so scary after all!
I'm very laid back, but I know how to get results. I have always been a very disciplined student, but I realized pretty early in my academic career that unless I make the subject interesting for me, I'll never grasp the material. I make it a point to get to know every student so that I can personalize their learning style. The only way they'll learn and understand something is if they WANT to do so. I offer a different approach to things that students may not get in the classroom, to hopefully expand their interest in a subject they never thought they'd like.
I recently obtained my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, where I graduated in the top of my class with a 4.0.
