As a Mississippi State University graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering, which has enabled me to become proficient in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in various areas of study. During the last four years, I have tutored students in mathematics, physics, biology, and English.

I love teaching and working with children and peoples of all ages. I look for each individuals way of learning and apply an apporpriate method that will make the material understandable for the particular student. Sometimes, experimenting with a student and trying different techniques is the best method. Having a student use flash cards, reading aloud, or having the material read to the student are a few of the ways I use to convey material to be learned.I believe that it is a teachers job to identify learning blocks to help a student achieve to the best of his or her ability. I believe a good teacher really can make a world of change for a student.
