I have had the pleasure to work inside the Natchez Adams School District as a Permanent Sub. I taught from the Mississippi Curriculum Framer. I completed my very own lesson plans following the district pacing guides. I am a strong believe of different learning styles, while doing so I try to accommodate each style of learning. I believe that every child can learn we just need to find a way of making it interesting to them. As an mathematics tutor I have had the pleasure of tutoring my college peers. After I graduated high school I went to a community college just to get the feel of college. I decided to major in speech because I was interested in correct speech. Not only how words were pronounced but also what mechanisms that are used to produce correct speech. I went on to Delta State University to pursue my Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing, and might I add they had a spectacular program. I learned a lot more than what makes a person have a speech disorder. I tutored at the local elementary school for two summers straigth and absolutely loved it. Children are a joy to work with becuase they are eager to learn. I feel that if you make it interesting for a child then their learning experience becomes something that they won't forget.

I'm a recent graduate of Rust College. During my years at college I tutored in subjects as biology, basic math, college algebra,English literature, and also was a co-judge for a local junior high science fair. During the summer of 2009, I did my internship with the Ronald E. McNair program at the University of Mississippi. This program focused mainly on research based studies with a chosen graduate professor. I'm an assertive motivator. Learning should not be repulsive, children love to learn by examples that they can relate to. I find the opportunity to combine the likes and dislikes of the student and mold them into a constructive solution. Using metaphors and similes are more of my specialties. I'm very much driven to excel in high levels of education. I have earned my bachelor degree, BS in General Studies, and currently working on my masters degree, MBA in Public Administration. I have many skills that includes typing, office work, math, term papers, and some Spanish. With the last ten years I have tutored family members and friends because I thrive to see others succeed and plan to open my own tutoring center once my degree are complete. I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years.
