1998 was the my first tutoring experience, I took time from busy school schedule to tutor students in Math and Science at a low income school near my college. After spending time tutoring students in a variety of subjects I decided to go for an education degree once I finished my undergraduate degree. While working towards my Masters degree I spent a semester working in the Seattle Public school as a substitute teachers aid. While obtaining my chemistry degree at Butler, I also completed all requirements for a secondary education license with the exception of student teaching and worked as a math and science tutor with a private tutoring service in Indianapolis. I also was a "Mad Science" instructor, teaching after school programs to grades k-12 in science. Upon graduation, I worked as a medicinal chemist for 5 year and attended law school at night. I completed my law degree in 2006 and now currently work at Vanderbilt University negotiating research agreements. I recently taught test prep course for Sherwood Test Prep-but disliked the format of the classes.
