I believe that the use of the modalities in teaching are quite beneficial and aid in smooth instruction. Visual, hearing and hands-on activities keep the student occupied and on-task. Each student learns in different ways and adapting all into a lesson keeps an engaged mind.

A Little Bit About Me...

Science is a topic that I have always been interested in. I earned a bachelor degree in chemistry, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. I went back and obtained my education license to teach science, where my real passion lies. I have taught many high school sciences for the past couple of years.
My goal is to connect the information to the real world. I want students to understand why it is important to know today’s topic. I want to empower the students with the same drive to know how the world works. Motivation is key. A motivated student will care more about doing well. I enjoy teaching mathematics and biology. If the student is willing to learn in some fashion I can help him or her. I tend to teach by examples for mathematics and for biology I teach in a lecture style, answering questions in-depth when necessary. In both fields I can give in-depth explanations for concepts.
