A Little Bit About Me...

I have always valued education. I can remember comparing grades and discussing what we learned in class as early as 2nd grade. We had a healthy competitive spirit that helped us grown into productive adults. I first began tutoring in an afterschool program in 1995. I have always loved assisting students with learning. I have even considered getting my teaching certification. I currently have my MBA in Business management and feel most comfortable teaching math reading and English to children ages 5-12.
I love all children. I believe all children learn in different ways. it's up to us to determine what workds for them and help them acquire the knowledge they need. I enjoy teaching children and get great pleasure from helping them to learn new concepts. It is very exciting to see the glow in the eyes of a child when he has realized that he understands what we are studying. I believe each child is an individual and learns in his own way. There is no set way to teach a child. Through many years of working with children, I have been able to adjust my teaching style to fit that of the child or children with whom I am working.
