I will share many experiences and examples in order to help studnets understand the text. I have much more patience than most younger teachers and have ways to help getthe text ideas over to the students. I love to teach reading and I use experiences and examples to help explain texts.

I decided at the age of 38 to attend college and earn my BA of Education degree. I have worked with and coached young people most of my life on a volunteer basis. Teaching has always been one of my passions. I have worked with students with learning disabilities in my eleven years of teaching. I have taught all the core subjects from grades 3-12. My favorite subject to teach/tutor is math. I enjoy seeing my students progress in their learning.
I like to challenge my students to reach their potential. I realize there is a fine line between challenging and frustrating my students.
