My comments on tutoring Special Education : I am very familiar with helping students with ADD/ADHD and dyslexia. I also teach students with autism on a daily basis. I am a certified Special Education teacher K-12 in the state of Florida. I also have my BA in Special Education.

This depends on the student. I can teach verbally for students who are auditory learners, visually for student who are visual learners, and kinesthetically for students who are kinesthetic learners. I know that every student can learn, it just depends on finding the specific learning style for that student.
I have been working as a teacher for three years now. I enjoy working in a private school setting (two years experience) because I can devote more time to lesson planning, after school, and creating individualized/small group curriculum as there are less students in the private school I teach at. My comments on tutoring Special Education : ESE Kindergarten through 3rd grade, Language Impaired

I believe every student has their own style of learing. I am very much a visual learner and utilize this style. Many students, though, are tactile learners and/or find their attention is kept using computers. I love discovering what type of learner each child is. A Little Bit About Me...
