A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored high school students at San Gorgonio High School in a variety of subjects for 6 months. In addition, I worked as an independent English tutor in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 6 months. When I was in high school I did two years of tutoring at Franklin Elementary. I'm currently employed at Club Z Tutoring and attend University of Redlands to obtain my teaching credential.
I can teach children of all ages. I believe it is easiest to build rapport with the student before teaching them. If there is a good relationship between the student and teacher then it is easier to teach and learn. I use different styles of teaching that address all types of learners. I will incorporate visual aids, music, hand movements and other techniques to enhance the students retention of information. I have patience and like to use positive feedback to motivate my students.

I chose to earned my BS in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry because it was one of the hardest major. I did this in four years while married with three children. I enjoy challenges like this because I believe that with dedication, practice, and passion anyone can accomplish whatever goals they set out to do.
