I can teach children of all ages. I believe it is easiest to build rapport with the student before teaching them. If there is a good relationship between the student and teacher then it is easier to teach and learn. I use different styles of teaching that address all types of learners. I will incorporate visual aids, music, hand movements and other techniques to enhance the students retention of information. I have patience and like to use positive feedback to motivate my students.
I have tutored high school students at San Gorgonio High School in a variety of subjects for 6 months. In addition, I worked as an independent English tutor in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 6 months. A Little Bit About Me...

Both my mother and my sister are teachers. I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others. Currently, I tutor my two daughters with all their subjects. My 15 year-old has a 4.2 GPA and my 11 year-old has a 3.9 GPA. One key skill I mastered at work, and as a consultant, is my mentoring of my staff. I want to teach my staff everything I know so they can not only be very productive but also understand the big picture. My teaching method consists of me finding out my student's strengths and weaknesses with his/her knowledge of the subject.
