I have multiple undergraduate research experiences in mathematics. Both of those research projects have been presented at math conferences. Rather, I think it is important to help them find the answers themselves--understanding the process will enable them to perform on their own. For example, rather than editing a student's paper, I will go through it line by line and have them help me find the errors.
