I've been informally teaching for around 7 years, starting with private percussion lessons and high school drumline instruction and most recently tutoring through the Migrant Education Program in the subject areas of English as a Second Language, math, science, and Spanish. I have a very strong level of education and experience in accounting and finance. I have a BS in Accountancy at the University of Illinois and passed the CPA as well. In addition to the insurance designations of FLMI, FFSI and AIAF, I also passed the Series 7, 27 and 63 exams and was a broker/dealer Financial and Operations Principal for several years. I have grown up in an education oriented household with both parents as teachers (Dad Chemistry and Mom English). Since earing my degree in CIS I have had 10 years of industry experience as well as having worked as a substitute teacher in both the Galesburg (CUSD #205, 200-2001) and Peoria (District 150,2007-Present) School Districts.
