I have been teaching ESL in the North Carolina community college system for two years. Every student that I have taught has improved his/her test scores (BEST) from 2-24 points and has advanced one or two class levels within four months of starting my class (high beginner level). I have also tutored a student in ESL Writing and Critical Thinking Skills as well as volunteered as an ESL Instructor at a church ESL outreach program for Hispanic adults.

I have always wanted to become a teacher, it is the most rewarding job! The best part of my experience is watching students finally get something I had been working with them on.
