I am a Caucasian-American, born and raised in Taiwan which gives me a unique understanding into teaching others the nuances of learning the Chinese language. There are many tricks to teaching Chinese that many Chinese nationals don't understand because they simply "grew up with it". I have had 3 years of experience teaching college students and professors Chinese in the classroom setting. I have also had experience in one-on-one tutoring. I do have strong teaching experience and academic background in Fine Art and Design. I received my Master Degree of Art in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design in March 15, 2011 and my B.F.A degree in Graphic Design from University of Bridgeport, CT in 2006. Before I came to the United States, I completed my B.A degree in Fine Art at Nanjing Arts Institute in Nanjing, China.
