People learn at different levels, and what works for one does not always work for another; therefore,finding the way for each individual student is the key. The most important element of teaching is to realize one is teaching a person. In a tutoring situation, it is especially important to discover exactly how to present material to the student. As a teacher, I seek to understand the student and then present the material using terms and examples the student can understand. Finally, I literally believe the only “stupid question” is one the learner doesn’t ask. I hold a Bachelor and a Master of Science degree in Science Education.
