I first must one hundred percent become knowledgeable and comfortable with the material I will be teaching. I enjoy being able to personalize myself not only with the work but the students as well. Throughout high school and college, I performed at an academic level well above average. As a result, I often found myself helping my fellow students. As part of my graduate assistantship at Missouri State, I work in the math tutoring lab several hours a week, tutoring (primarily) algebra and calculus students. I also teach MTH 102, which is approximately equivalent to high school Algebra II.
