I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemisty with a minor in statistics. As an undergraduate, I tutored middle-schoolers in science and math as a volunteer at a local school. I was recently a substitute teacher, teaching all ages and in areas such as the biological sciences, algebra, calculus and psychology. I currently tutor a college student in mathemtics.
I first discovered my love for teaching in high school. I excelled in many areas and helped my fellow students learn. As I furthered my education, my passion for teaching grew and my style changed. I have molded my favorite, and most effective, professor's techniques into my own hybrid. I use humor and compassion to develop the student's understanding.
