I started doing private tutoring in math at Santa Monica College when I was a student in 2005. I had a lot of clients from different countries. I helped them with precalculus, triginometry, algebra, calculus, multiveriable calculus, linear algebra. I studied 2 years at SMC and transfered to CSULA. Currently just graduated with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Long Beach. I have tutored several different courses throughout my career. Including Thermodynamics, Numerical Methods for Engineers, Mechanics of Materials, Calculus, Differential Equations and more. I had a high GPA in college and was a very hard worker. Usually the way I tutor is the student brings me homework problems or questions about a topic and I walk them through how to solve them.
I like to use a white board when I tutor, it makes it easier to solve many different problems without having to use paper. I also prefer that students bring questions and homework problems to tutor sessions that way I have a better understanding of what they need to learn.

My comments on tutoring Calculus II : Math Minor

I was a valedictorian in my high school, moved on to Fresno State on a full scholarship as a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College. I obtained two degrees magna cum laude, one in Physics and the other in Philosophy, as well as a minor in Math. Here I tutored all levels of Calculus to college students under Fresno State's Math department for two semesters. During this time I did a variety of Physics research and obtained one journal publication. I also volunteered as a tutor in the community as an undergraduate.
