I have worked in an elementary public school since 1997. The majority of my experience has been in special education. I currently teach second grade. I hold a bachelor's degree and am able to teach any subject necessary in a general curriculum, although my specialty is working with children with disabilities. I am patient and positive. I like to set goals for my students based on what they feel is important for them to learn and achieve.

Perform in deaf choir at Chattanooga State College and tutor other students to advance their skills as well to. Over the course of the past 10 years I have spent time working with students struggling to develop their academic skills, particularly in the areas of language arts and the social studies.
