I Love to Help People

Hi My Name is Shanda. I am 23 years old. I don't have a lot of experience in some stuff but I graduated from High School in 2011 with a High School Diploma. I just love to help people and I am working my way to work in a hospital from an administrative assistant and would like to work my way up to become a NICU nurse that works with Premature Babies. That's why I am going to college for my Bachelors Degree in Health Administration. My daughter that is now 4 was 2 months Premature and ever since then I have always wanted to work with children and babies.

Teaching is my life work, it is what completes me. I have worked in different arenas of public education for over twenty years. I have substituted in all grade levels, mentored and tutored at the elementary and middle school level and taught kindergarten for sixteen years. My Master’s degree in education specializing in literacy in the elementary school has helped to hone my professional skills. A Little Bit About Me...

My drive for knowledge enabled me to complete three degrees by the age of 22. I have high grades in all my classes as well as the extra science and writing classes I take on the side. I have a AAST in environmental science and technology, a BA in marine science and environmental studies, and will have my BS in one quarter. As well as being a full time student except for the summertime I tutor people in need of a little extra help. I have tutors ages from 6-25 and people with disabilities as well. I can help them with every subject, however my strongest subjects to tutor in are Math, Science, and History.
