Earning my BA degree and Teaching Credential from SDSU, I also have units equivalent to a Master's in curriculum development and health information. Recognized as an outstanding and dedicated teacher by parents and students, I have successfully taught primary, upper grades and junior high. In addition, I instructed high school students in preparation for the SAT test in reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and all areas of language arts. I set up and directed an after-school tutoring program for K-7th grades to help students needing help with organizational and study skill, test-taking techniques and appropriate academic support.
