I've worked in the ESL (or related) field for a total of 8 years. I was a Foreign Language Expert in China for 3 years and am finishing my 4th year as a rater for the TOEFL exam. I also taught Spanish for a year. I've worked with all ages of students as well (Pre-K to College age). I have been in the education/mentoring field for over 11 years. I am proficient in American Sign Language. I have taken ASL for 3 years in High School and a Semester in College, along with Deaf Studies. My teaching style depends on the student, but I like to use demonstrations, work through a problem instead of giving a problem, and I use visual learning methods (pictures and examples) I graduated high school in 2013 and became a student at Adams State University in the fall of 2013.
