Having been devoted to the welfare of children and families and valuing education highly throughout my life, I find tutoring a satisfying occupation. After vounteering my services for many years, I attained formal degrees in education, psychology, and counseling, with very high GPAs. I taught psychology and sociology for several years and have also tutored K-college individually and in groups for many years. Recognizing that each person has his/her own learning style, I emphasize "application" of material learned. I do this primarily by providing examples of information taught and require my students to do the same. I also supervised children and were responsible for taking care of children. I was offered a position and taught a computer course to elementary students. I have a Bachelors Degree from Old Dominion University in Education. I enjoy working with children, I prefer working with elementary students. I believe in a multi facet teaching style.
