I have been teaching four years. I am a highly driven person and expect a lot of myself as well as my students. I earned a BA degree in English Literature, and a Master of Arts degree in English/Creative writing from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Education is the central focus of my everyday life. I have obtained a BS in Management-Health Care/HR and 5 Associate degrees in Business Administration, Administrative Office Technology, Medical Office Technology, Legal Secretary, and College Transfer. I have been homeschooling my son since 2006 and mentoring students through a local church for just as long. In addition, I tutored in 1990-1991 and 1994-1997 while in college to earn extra money. Teaching to me is a vocation and not just a job. I enjoy helping children achieve their peek potential in the subject matter at hand.
