My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : Shakespeare is a hobby of mine. My favorite play is Much Ado About Nothing. King Henry V is a close second.

I have been a tutor for over four years. I enjoy tutoring and teaching a variety of subjects to whoever wants to learn. Learning for the sake of learning is one of the most important things I have learned in college and that is how I apply myself to tutoring. School should not be about just memorization; it should be about learning for the sake of learning.

I chose to teach the class for students who did not pass the entrance exam for Fresno State because I enjoyed working with the diverse, and primarily ESL, students who populated these classes. I have known that teaching is my calling since I was a Freshman in high school. Learning how everything works has always facinated me and sharing that has been equally rewarding. I believe that learning can be fun when it is relevant and interactive. Students have to be given a vested interest in the learning process, asked questions. An environment of trust in which student's inquiry is encouraged is the best way of learning. Moreover, I thing that teachers have to use complementing mediums for teaching (ie. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been an educator for over 10 years. I have taught elementary for 5 years, high school for 2 years, tutored for 3 years and am currently working as a substitute teacher/tutor. During this time I have taught English, Science, Reading , Language Arts, History, Greek, Hebrew, Spanish, and Math. I currently tutor Math, Reading and English for students from Elementary to High School. I have tutored Algebra, Geometry and Pre-Algebra.
