My comments on tutoring Composition : I have been writing papers my entire academic career.

I have been a tutor for over four years. I enjoy tutoring and teaching a variety of subjects to whoever wants to learn. Learning for the sake of learning is one of the most important things I have learned in college and that is how I apply myself to tutoring. School should not be about just memorization; it should be about learning for the sake of learning.

While earning my MA in English at California State University, Fresno, I spent two exciting years teaching beginning college writing. I chose to teach the class for students who did not pass the entrance exam for Fresno State because I enjoyed working with the diverse, and primarily ESL, students who populated these classes.
