From my experience of working the Math Lab at ICC, I have noticed that for some students, math is a rather difficult subject to them. Therefore, I always try to make sure my students understand everything I'm explaining and I always ask them for feedbacks so I know that they clearly understand everything. I always go over and review the materials I have taught/explained to the students so if there are any shady areas, I make sure I go over and expalin it again. My goal in being a math tutor is to help other students understand as much as I do.

I love the process of really getting to know a student on an individual level. That is crucial to determine their learning style and their strengths. I enjoy teaching and coaching. As a chess coach I taught a group of 10-20 children. I have also helped coach some of my son's sports, but what I really enjoy is one-on-one teaching although my experience is mostly limited to teaching my third grade son who is very advanced and teaching accounting to a non-accountant assistant at work.
