Calculus I is one of my top subjects!

I am a senior mathematics education major at Bradley University. I have been tutoring both high school and college students for 6 years, and have had high successes in each level of math for many different students and learning abilities. Each student has an individual learning style, and my goal is to discover that and help students learn to learn. No one has to be "a genius" to learn math, rather they must work at it.

I earned a BA in psychology and started a Master's program in elementary education. Due to personal circumstances, however, I was not able to complete the program. I then taught early childhood and continued to volunteer in schools. I now work in the education department at Bradley University. I love to put myself in the students' shoes. I have the ability to relate to the students on an individual level and they respect me. I taught one semester of College Algebra at Illinois State University. I was responsible for 2 sections of lab while I completed graduate credits for a Master's in Mathematics. My B.S. in actuarial science (math) was attained from Bradley University.
