In conclusion, I think that I can still be successful in teaching. I however, need to find what area that I can be most successful at. I think that with my non-traditional training and experience, that a similar position would give me the opportunity to be most successful. One thing that I have thought a great deal about these past few weeks, is that I am entering middle age and must be a success at something. In the past, I have found the most enjoyment and fulfillment working with special needs and incarcerated students. During my four years obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology, I spent five semesters being a tutor in college algebra, statistics, pre-med biology, and spanish 101. In addition to my tutoring of college students I was a note taker for students with disabilities in various courses as well as on the academic committee in my fraternity.
