I love sharing what I know with my students, from elementary to college levels. I am patient, caring and flexible to work with my students’ individual needs. I believe that reading is the key for the young student to develop a variety of experience and thought. Therefore, I focus on encouraging students to gain exposure through reading a wide range of literature. Reading is also essential to being able to write well, which will open doors to future success. In conclusion, I think that I can still be successful in teaching. I however, need to find what area that I can be most successful at. I think that with my non-traditional training and experience, that a similar position would give me the opportunity to be most successful. One thing that I have thought a great deal about these past few weeks, is that I am entering middle age and must be a success at something.
