When I was senior high school student taking AP Biology, I tutored a freshman student and helped bring up her scores for her final exam. During my time studying at the New College of Florida, Florida's honors college, I took two semesters of a class in which I prepared and taught elementary, middle, and high school students various topics in science. As a condition of obtaining my bachelors degree for the honors program, I wrote a thesis entitled, "Photorespiration: A Wasteful Relic, or a Potentially Useful Metabolic Tool?". A Little Bit About Me...

My education consists of a Bachelors of Arts degree in chemistry, with a minor in biology and significant field experience in academic research in both fields. My inaugural teaching experience was as an HEOP tutor for introductory physics. I have been a freelance tutor for organic chemistry for over a year, and have tutored Regents chemistry as well, and have volunteered my services to fellow students for two and a half years.
