I am great at teaching youth and adults alike in getting the best education and setting goals. I believe in getting a good education. I was in the Unites States Navy for 16 years. I joined the military right out of high school. I received my Certificate in Management, Associate of Arts degree, and Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland College Park, Maryland while traveling and serving on active duty for my country. I have been working with young children since 2005. I started as a pre-school teacher with ages 3-5. For the past five years I have worked as an elementary school Teacher's Assistant. It was there when I got the most of my experience in classroom management and actually how to teach all children with different learning styles. I worked with grades second, pre-K, fifth, and first. I just recently graduated from Jackson State Unversity and I am currently teaching for HCHRA-Project Head Start. My classroom consists of 3, 4, and 5 year olds. At Millsaps, I was a member of Beta Beta Beta which is a biology honor society. As a member, I was responsible for tutoring underclassmen for two years. I spent much of my time at Millsaps coming up with a system of studying and organization which I shared with numerous others. Teaching others is most effective when you can convince someone that the material is actually easy. That is what I do. I make it as easy as possible by organizing the material in a way which shows the student that the material isn't infinite. We then chip away at it.
