Please read first comment. I've been an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I have a master's degree in education and am certified in the state of NC for K-6 education. I have taught and tutored kindergarten-5th grade. I am also Orton Gillingham certified. I am very hands-on - I use games just as much as traditional teaching methods. I walked away from it all late summer 2011 to work my spiritual path and providing patient and heart-centered tutoring to elementary children works well with this path. I am currently in school to become a middle school language arts/social studies teacher. I am about to enter my junior year of college. I have volunteered in middle school classrooms. I have been doing one-on-one care with individuals with mental/physical disabilities for the past year and a half working for the Arc of NC. I have volunteered as a tutor at the Pullen Hope Center in Raleigh, tutoring adults trying to get their GED's. I am all about positive feedback.
