Experience Summary
I am currently in school to become a middle school language arts/social studies teacher. I am about to enter my junior year of college. I have volunteered in middle school classrooms. I have been doing one-on-one care with individuals with mental/physical disabilities for the past year and a half working for the Arc of NC. I have volunteered as a tutor at the Pullen Hope Center in Raleigh, tutoring adults trying to get their GED's.
Teaching Style
I am all about positive feedback. I think it is extremely important to point out when people do things right, and not just when they do things wrong.
Other Comments
I am more than willing to admit that I do not know everything, and sometimes I get asked questions that I do not know the answer to. With that said, I am always happy to figure out the answer.
