Hello, my name is Jennifer Garcia and I am currently in the final stage of becoming a certified elementary teacher. In terms of online tutoring. I make use of a headset microphone and a touch tablet. As well as many free online applications, such as a whiteboard, Skype, and educational resources. Mathematically, I teach from a logical, or procedural approach. As students work their way up to Calculus and further, it is important to understand the process of problem-solving and not focus on the numbers alone. Many sciences can become abstract, I like to relate topics to things students may encounter everyday or already understand in order to get a foundation before complicating topics with smaller detail.
