A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children. I have helped with pre-K and grade school children with an emphasis on working with Autistic children. All children can succeed in school given the right tools; just because they do not get the idea from one method does not mean that they won't get it from a different method. I think that all children can learn regardless of age, learning ability or other status, if given a chance.
I spent two years teaching and tutoring Autistic children. I aided in routine skills, verbal skills and dealing with change. I have worked with two different children on these skills. I also have extensive skills in writing and researching for my research papers. I also have great knowledge of APA format and can write an essay in no time flat.

Getting my Ph.D. in English has given me the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. During the last seven years I have been tutoring students at all grade levels, from elementary school through high school, as well as teaching classes in English at several universities.
