I recently graduating from Northwest Christian College with a bachelors of teacher education. I have a license to teach PreK-5th grade and I have a TESOL degree which allows me to teach English as a second language to students in grades K-12. I have taught Sunday School and youth group for eight years. I had two years of Practica and Student Teaching.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I have a strong desire to see each and every child succeed. I believe that all children have the potential to do well if they are given the right tools and are able to use them. For two years, I studied Chemistry and Biology while also taking classes in the Humanities. I eventually majored in International Political Economy and obtained minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Getting my Ph.D. in English has given me the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. During the last seven years I have been tutoring students at all grade levels, from elementary school through high school, as well as teaching classes in English at several universities.
