I am a computer teacher and technology coordinator at St. Mary's School in Taylorville, Illinois. I contrusted an after school and summer tutoring business in 2016 and have loved every minute. I tutor children of all ages. I have tutored students with speech apraxia, dyslexia, ADHD/ADD, learning disabilities, processing disorders, and IEPs. Linda Albert's model of "Cooperative Discipline" first began to intrigue me when I was introduced to her model in on of my Education courses. I agree whole-heartedly in her approach, which is based around the idea that helping students feel capable and connected will encourage them to contribute to their class and be successful.
