I have always had a deep appreciation and passion for the English language. I began reading at the age of three, and excelled in reading and grammar throughout my public school education. As a Marketing professional for more than 25 years, I have written extensively for clients. I recently collaborated on a play which is being produced in November of this year. As a recent graduate from Clemson University's Calhoun Honors College, I deeply believe in the importance of education. I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. I like to relate learning to childrens' lives (make it about basketball if the boy likes basketball, or about chocolate if the girl likes chocolate).

I recently finished my BS in English Literature at Towson University in Maryland. In the years I spent at Towson, I built a portfolio to include samples of my writing. I am interested in helping others build their writing skills to communicate creatively and effectively.
I enjoy helping students build on their strengths and overcome weaknesses in writing. I believe the key to a stimulating composition stems from the interest the writer has in the subject. Equally important is technical aspect of writing.
