Sign Language is one of my top subjects! Currently, I am working as a community and educational interpreter. I completed an interpreter training program several years ago and have been signing for over 12 years.

Recently I have begun working as an American Sign Language instructor (adjunct professor) at a local community college and have been tutoring a variety of students outside of the classroom. In addition, I have been an interpreter for 5 years and have been signing for over 12 years. Originally, I learned ASL in Ohio and had to adjust to New Jersey regional signs. After deciding to become an interpreter, I attended classes at Union County College and Ocean County College. I am active in deaf coffee chats and meetups in northern and central New Jersey.
I am flexible. Sign language can only be learned through repetition and practice, so there will be a lot of voice-off communication exchanges. Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I am proficient in ASL, I have been an interpreter for almost 20 years as well as being a coda(child of deaf adults)

I have signed since birth being born to deaf parents. I have Interpreted for approximately 20 years in the school system at the junior high school and high school levels. I have hearing impaired family and friends & am immersed in the deaf culture which helps keep my signing vocabulary current. I have also taught adult sign language classes, teaching kids and adults the basic fundamentals if signing ASL.
