I eight years of experience teaching English as a Second Language in elementary school and middle school. I worked with students in the regular classroom, team-teaching all subjects with the classroom teacher. I have also taught university composition for more than three years overseas. I have degrees in linguistics and English, giving me a great depth of knowledge of vocabulary and the structure of the English language. A Little Bit About Me...

I was raised as a bilingual speaker, Italian & English, and was always fascinated by the workings of language. After my discharge from the Air Force in Australia, while studying for a BA in English & History, I began teaching and tutoring in this field. I was drawn to the Linguistics aspect of my study and after comopleting a BEd degree, I went on to specialize in this subject in my MA. I now speak several languages. Although my specialty is in Secondary education, I have taught in primary elementary and at College level.
