A Little Bit About Me...

I have a B.S. degree in Business Management and I am currently working on my teacher licensure. I plan to teach high school vocational business classes. In addition I have several year of experience working with children. For the last year I have worked in the school system as an Assistant and remediation teacher in fourth grade. I am currently a third grade teacher assistant. As one of my many duties I provided additional help to students who need it. I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.

I enjoy all facets of business. I teach more as a coach pointing out ways to improve while at the same time controlling the balance of a stable learning environment. I like to use real world/real-time examples because those types of examples are in front of us everyday are very easy to relate too. I also believe in a research based approach, which looks at a subject matter from many different perspectives. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience comes from being brought up by, a Spanish mother who spoke perfect Castillian Spanish. My education has only enhanced my love of teaching.I have experience in many fields from being a trained Make-up artist to running nightclubs,but teaching another person to speak proper Spanish is a skill that I truly value.
Teaching others should be fun and effortless. The style of the teacher is what can make or break a great lesson and I feel that my students would enjoy our lessons together. Students should feel comfortable enough to ask questions and never feel overwhelmed by the lessons, that is what I strive for!
