I have a B.S. degree in Business Management and I am currently working on my teacher licensure. I plan to teach high school vocational business classes. In addition I have several year of experience working with children. For the last year I have worked in the school system as an Assistant and remediation teacher in fourth grade. I am currently a third grade teacher assistant. As one of my many duties I provided additional help to students who need it. Last school year I tutored student in first, second, seventh, and eighth grades in reading and mathematics.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.

I have worked full-time through all three of my degrees and through the two certifications I am currently pursuing. This has given me real word experience in business (accounting, finance, management, human resource management, and marketing). I have managed a team of 20-30 people and now at my current position; developing and maintain a budget of 40,000,000 plus as an Assistant Finance Officer. The blend of experience and education I have achieved can help me translate academic work into understandable terms for the student.
