Math can be fun and interesting if you have the right tools!

I have served as a guidance counselor in middle schools for almost forty years and retired in December, 2013. During the last twelve years, I have tutored students in math in groups and individually. I enjoy using incentives and finding ways to make concepts relative in the student's actual life experiences. I still hold a valid Florida certificate.

While training with the Computer Troubleshooter, I learned more about how to use software and typing/keyboard shortcuts to utilize computers to their full potential. My comments on tutoring Homework Help : I have often helped kids with their homework in various subjects

I am patient and treat kids with the same respect I am given. since I am young, I believe teaching kids will be easier because I can understand any troubles they may be having and the material is fresh in my head.
I am graduating high school this year and I am the oldest of three children. My sister is in first grade and my brother is in PreK. After school we come home and work on homework and sight words.
