I have earned two degrees. At Georgia Southern University I recieved a B.S. in Nutrition/Food Sciences. While in Statesboro, ga completing my studies I served as an after school tutor for elementary students in the Bulluch County after school program. I recently graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in Atlanta, GA where I earned a degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology. Although I never actually taught a class, I was able to learn how to adapt to the individual needs of a student. Some learn visually, others with games, practice, hands on... and the list continues. I find starting out with the basics and working up to the harder subjects is important. So, with the assignment given I also ask other questions of the student to see if they understand the more basic concepts of the problem as well as answer the question. I find this helps them understand the process more completely and the student ends up giving more complete answers on assignments and exams.
