I went to school online at Ashford University, for 2 years in an accelerated Bachelor's Degree program with a focus on education. I have had years of experience even before college with Fine Arts. I had a tutor/ lessons myself in art from age 9-15. I have earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts at Virginia Tech in 5 years after transfer twice before. I was very successful at Virginia Tech my professors were always impressed with my drive to succeed. I have recently completed my Senior Art Show and had amazing feed back from all professors and professionals that attended. I also intend on applying to graduate school in the next year for my MFA.

Children's church is where a year of my experience comes from. I would guide a group of children during the service and would spend individual time with those who wanted to brush up on their reading and writing. I enjoyed every minute of this experience and can say I made an impact in those children's lives.
