A Little Bit About Me...

I have studied Spanish for 15 years and have lived in Costa Rica and Miami where I was required to speak Spanish daily for school and for work. I have had tutored Spanish professionally for seven years and have many long-term clients, both young and old. I have also tutored college level accounting, economics and finance, as well as math and english for grade school through high school. My youngest client thus far is four and my oldest is 72. I have experience tutoring at all ages and skill levels.
I enjoying tutoring all subjects, but Spanish is certainly my passion. I develop new lessons for each meeting based on the needs of the client. At the undergraduate level, as a high honors student, I took the opportunity to tutor psychology and biology undergraduates. I also received a TA position for Research Methods in psychology. I also volunteered for 2 years mentoring underprivileged Junior HS students. I continued to teach and tutor when I entered grad school. I received two TA positions, one teaching general biology labs and another teaching anatomy and physiology labs. In my second year of graduate school, I worked at a science and math magnet school for HS students, managing student projects in the animal labs.
