A Little Bit About Me...

I have over 9 years of combined teaching and instruction experience at the junior high, senior high, private, collegiate, and adult levels. Through scholarships, I have earned a B.A. in Psychology from Ohio Northern University and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University. I am currently working on my second M.Ed. degree and beginning my 3rd season as a Head Boys Track Coach. I have taught and tutored in almost all subject areas but my strongest competencies reside in language arts, math, health, and study skills. I am also a published research writer and poet. I graduated from college with certification to teach grades 1-12. Do to the job market at that time, I was unable to get a full time teaching job. I substituted and then tutored for 2 years. I then worked various jobs working with the public. As a student myself I know exactly what I want and expect out of a teacher. Learning is exciting for me, and it is important to me that I convey the 'fun' aspects of learning to my students.
