After graduating from high school in June 2003, I went on to further my education at Kent State University of Kent, OH. At Kent State, I majored in Special Education: Mild to Moderate Disabilities. Upon completion of my program and graduation from Kent State in December 2007, I received my Bachelor of Science in Education. I graduated with the honor of Magna Cum Laude because of a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.74. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from college with certification to teach grades 1-12. Do to the job market at that time, I was unable to get a full time teaching job. I substituted and then tutored for 2 years. I then worked various jobs working with the public. Although much of work experience is not in the teaching field, I have worked with people in many ways to reach their full potential and can relate to them on a level that they will comprehend.
I believe in using a multi- modality approach to teaching. The more senses involved, the more likely one will remember. My six years of teaching experience started in Pittsburgh, PA as a Preschool teacher within a Head Start program. I then moved to Martinsburg, WV where I taught Kindergarten for three years and First Grade for one year in a public school system.
